Shaman’s Sermon for Chimo is one of the most ambitious paintings that renowned Woodlands artist Christian Morrisseau has completed to date.

The large painting was created over a ten day period back in 2007 in Windsor, ON. The end result contains a range of visually vibrant colours all brought together with Morrisseau’s trademark thick outlines. Like all of Christian’s artwork, Shaman’s Sermon for Chimo is layered with stories and symbols of his grandfathers in the spiritual world.
